We are so excited! Part of our team went to Cisco Connect Brazil 2019 in the wonderful city of Sao Paulo.
The event was attended by more than 4,000 participants and we, as Partners, were represented by Fernando Rosselot, who had the opportunity to enjoy this experience, of great relevance to the technology industry and who shares more details with us today.
¡Do not miss them!
- Fernando, tell us how the Cisco Connect experience was lived? Very exciting I imagine.
This year we participated as a Silver sponsor, and we had a high flow of customers visiting our stand looking for the solutions that Adportas can offer as a complement to its services. The merit of all this is that as a Chilean company we achieve outstanding participation in an event that takes place outside the country and with a scope at the level of the Brazilian industry.
In addition, attending this type of event gives us an experience that is enriching, thanks to the learning acquired in each participation; we can know how they are performing other organizations, how the market is working, while we understand our position as active agents of the industry; All this is what we seek to make the most of the constant search to always offer a better service.
- For Adportas it has been very important to participate in Cisco Connect, but how do you think we contribute to the event?
The main relevance of our assistance is linked to the role we play; We were the only Solution Partner present as a sponsor of this event, because the vast majority were IT integrators along with some of the most important Service Providers in the Brazilian market.
If it is a question of delivering a PLUS or a differentiator to Cisco Connect we would have to mention our portfolio; We have varied solutions for CiscoUC which makes it easier for integrators to find a partner with a comprehensive portfolio. Put simply, we are a company that can deliver comprehensive solutions to offer its customers, which will obviously improve the final engagement.
- Ok, great, so being there was a great contribution! And what learning do we bring back to our country after this experience?
Each time you participate in these types of events, it is essential to have a count of the things we value and what we still have to learn. In this edition, I believe that we learned a lot about the route of action that Cisco seeks to direct to the new technologies that are developed day by day and that are increasingly integrated into the market faster; as well as the commercial challenges ahead.
Also have the possibility of interacting with other partners and customers, understanding the proposals that Cisco seeks to capture in its speech, helps us align our proposal and direct technical efforts accordingly.
If we talk about the industry and new releases, I think that one of the highlights of this event was the launch of WebEX Calling that seeks to improve the telephony system by working directly with On the Cloud storage, reducing security problems and simplifying its use, these were the main topics discussed in exhibitions and talks that we had the opportunity to attend.
